New Trinity Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas

New Trinity Cemetery, Fort Worth Texas. This is a all black cemetery. It is not vandelized but neglected. When I got back to my computer I found Cemeteries of Tarrant County. This cemetery needs to be transcribed. Oh I wish I could stay here longer, I would love to do it. But I am on my way to Kansas tomorrow. There are so many neat cemeteries nearby to where I am staying.

I wanted to let you know that I contacted the city of Haltom City, Texas regarding this cemetery. It's actually 3 cemeteries in one and it was transcribed back in the 1990's. I have a copy of the entire cemetery, all 46 pages, that a Boy Scout had done all the work. It's amazing how much he did. I am trying to find out his name so that I can get this published with his permission. I will also be completing this project with pictures that I will list on Find a Grave. I just wanted to let you know that your post is not in vain. I read it!

My grandparents are buries here. Three years ago we went to visit the grave site. Today we went and we couldn’t find the headstones. I would love some help in finding their exact burial place. Are there owners of the cemetery?

I have many ancestors buried here on the Beach st side of the cemetery. Does anyone know who can help me markers for the gravesites? Or who I should contact at Haltom City?

I wanted to reply to everyone who has commented here, but I can't figure out how to send a message to any of you.
For anyone looking for the transcription, the Boy Scout project, there is a copy in the Fort Worth Central Public Library in the Genealogy Department. I've actually copied the whole thing and am in the process of correcting the errors that I found. I love this cemetery and hope to donate an updated book of burials and a history on the cemetery and perhaps the people in it. It'll be awhile though.

I am trying to put together a group of people to go out and manage photo requests from this cemetery. Any information anyone can give me is appreciated. If anyone has a digital copy of the work the scout did, I would love to have it!

Also, several of you posted that you have ancestors buried here. If you would like photos of the gravesite, please leave me a message here or email tazjt@yahoo.com with Cemetery Request in the subject line. I will do my best to get it done for you!
